BIOGRAPHY

I am a passionate, creative and friendly musician with tiny ego and a lot of whim. Spanning 35 years as a vocalist and a drummer and almost a multi-instrumentalist, I had the pleasure of working with many great musicians and bands in non-commercial scene both in UK and in Turkey.

Like most musicians, I have started with music from the very early age thanks to my musician mother, children's choir and my very early exploration of the drums.
In 1987 I have joined my first thrash metal band Hazy Hill briefly as a bass player and later as a drummer which lasted almost 5 years. After a demo tape and numerous concerts around the country with names like Pentagram, Metallium and the Nordic death metal band Mayhem, left Hazy Hill with a desire to go more technical and progressive.

In 1992 I have become the drummer for Mindvortex, a progressive speed-thrash band from Turkey which had caused a lot of stir in the scene appearing three times on national TV and having a special program dedicated for their upcoming album. Sadly, it disbanded in 1995 without publishing the long-awaited album. (videos of that program are in the Gallery)

Taking a break from drumming, I have walked into the different music scene, working as a vocalist in Cover Rangers with highly anticipated guitarist Emre Sarigün and the later Hazy Hill drummer Mete Kuteş, long time friend Farhad Hossseinpouri and Barış Ülkü.
This continued another 5 years every week with two other bands and fantastic musicians in venues like Inka and Gölge Bar covering songs from popular 80s rock bands, alternative and classic rock bands.

Coming to London in 2002 I have joined industrial punk band Susan Acid and played in the acclaimed Garage in London, albeit it was a short-lived band.
Singing in various function bands I made a comeback to the metal/rock scene with Shot Through The Heart 80's rock cover band as a guest for more than a year where I played with fantastic musicians from Sisters of Mercy / Diamond Black, Bruce Dickinson, Terrorvision, Hekz and Primitai. Lately I have joined The Multitude as vocalist and Nunchucker as the drummer.
